I’ve been told the new Bix & Andy trigger will drop into a Savage Model 12 BR. Is this information correct, as some forums dispute this?
I just installed mine last month and all I had to do was open up the stock as the opening was a bit small. I took my time and start to finish was maybe 2 hrs. I now have to lift the bolt release each time I cycle the bolt, but that’s becoming easier to remember at each outing. FWIW I installed this in a newer 12 BR.

I have to do the same thing on my Savage Model 12 BR. The trigger works great except for the bolt release issue. I’ve contacted the company and distributor. The distributor responded that my bolt release spring was too short. I question that…? The Bix & Andy Company has not responded as yet. I will post when they do.
