Tac Sport Pro X Issue… **Help Please!**

I have a Tac Sport Pro X in a Remington 700 with a Mack Brothers bolt. Installed the trigger with fat card 3.8 top sear and it functioned great for about 150 rounds. Then this weekend I started getting multiple light strikes/fail to fire. I went through the bolt and everything is fine with it as far as far as travel goes, .244”. Then I removed the trigger to measure the trigger pin to cocking piece. That’s a hard measurement to acquire by hand with calipers, but I seem to get anywhere from .150”-.1535”. I’m not sure that is the issue but it should make sense considering there has to be some dragging to slow the movement of the firing pin forward.

What can be done to correct this so I can use this trigger and get this rifle shooting good again?

Based on your measurements it seems like you may need our low sear. The 3.6mm.

Changed to the low sear but that still didn’t fix the issue. I ended up having to stone the cocking piece to make the necessary clearance. Everything seems to function properly fry firing but still haven’t had the time to go to the range test under live fire.
