I have recently purchased 2 of the Savage Tacsport pro triggers. When I scan the package for the instruction manual, it takes me to a Savage specific page. On the page it states that there is a single screw to adjust trigger pull weight. The illustration clearly points to “screw d” which is in the middle of the trigger. Is it possible this is an error for the Savage trigger? Is it possible the adjustment screw is the 1.5mm Allen screw next to the trigger?
Hey Rneal, sorry for the delay in respone. Yes, that was an error during the initial release. I believe this has been corrected to show the adjustment screw is the 1.5mm located on the body of the trigger its self.

I recently installed a Bix (Dakota) trigger on my Savage 110 Trail Hunter chambered in 7 PRC. The installation went smoothly and everything appears to function properly.
Except one thing, I’m having one issue I cannot remove the bolt without disassembling the trigger assembly. Putting the bolt into the rifle was very difficult after the trigger installation.

That is actually a model we tested on in house and were able to make it work. Your model has a side bolt release correct? And if I recall you need to depress the trigger and push the bolt release at the same time. If you can send a photo with it out of the stock that could help us see if it is properly installed.
