Neuvo Difficult to Close

I just bought a new F-Class Rifle in 7-6.5PRC. It has the Neuvo action. It is almost difficult to close. By that I mean it has to be pushed down with force. And the bolt does not close easily either. I’m talking with no shell in it - just working the action. Most actions i’ve seen closes very easily and almost loosely. Also, I bought a new Forster Products 7-6.5PRC die and sized some brass. The bolt will not close with the brass in. What goes? Anybody?

The first thing I would check is whether a stock mounting screw is protruding into the front of the action. It is usually the front one that is to blame for this. It is hard to see because it is in the lug area, in the shadows.

That would be the first thing I would check.
