Just built 6.5 CM MPA Matrix chassis, Zermatt Orgion action, Areo Solus 24” Sendario fluted 1/8 , Zeiss S3 6-36X56 MiL, breaking barrel in with 144 match Bergers, 143 ELD X Hornady, Sierra 142 HPBT, would love some info on Hammers own 6 CM also would try some Hammers in it also Shooting 500 to 1000 yds
I’ve loaded 80 HHTs in a 6.5 SAUM @3800 (22” Barrel) and 70 HHTs in a 6mmBR @3450 (27.5” Barrel). Both were short of max and were lazerlike out to 500. They also both shot extremely well with the first load tried.
Breaking this 6.CM, in trying out 3 bullets, Hornady, Sierra, & Berger 143, Hornady, 144 gr on others, rifle really likes the Hornady’s, groups. Other 2 bullets, groups not what I want. Going back load up some different loads, work from there. 144 grs., shooting low Thanks for your response, ( ordered some Hammers, give them a try )

I have a few different rounds (Fed 120gr, Norma 130gr, Hornady 140 and 147ELD) through an Aero Prec Solus Comp 6.5cm. It likes 130gr Norma. 1/2” MOA (1.5” group) at 300yds. Have shot it out to 500yds but no real group data at that distance. Erik Cortina likes the Berger 130gr as a default goto when testing factory rifle offerings out to 500yds. I have not tried it yet.
