So using Lapua brass and Forster bushing Bump dies for a .223 custom 6.5 twist barrel, I must reduce the size of my bushing by 1000rh after about five or six firings annealing after each firing has anyone else experienced this issue
I had to increase my neck tension from 2k-3k on my 6 dasher and my 6 cm
Perhaps there has been a change in neck thickness… However, I would expect necks to get thicker, requiring a larger bushing for the same final neck ID… but, perhaps it is worth a check. I subscribe to the “expander button or mandrel” use after a bushing, so I have not experienced what you are describing and only offer this as a suggestion. Good luck.
