Do you need to go with a Bix’n Andy sear insert model for a Vudoo single shot action?

No. You go with a 4.0 sear

i am not aware of the timing of the vudoo action. if the timing for the trigger dowels pushes the trigger rearward (like in a rem 700) then the sear insert trigger (in the rem 700 position) would help

I tried the insert model on my V22S, it would not hold the cocking piece. They say it is 3.8mm high. I had to change the top sear to a standard 4mm high top sear. They do have other insert top sears in the catalog but they do not list their height. You can change the firing pin timing by turning the threaded firing pin in or out. Mike Bush has a video on The Hide on how to adjust the firing pin timing.
