I’m new to the forum and was curious if anyone has taken order of their Ingenuity Precision trickler system? I’m referring to the entire system advertised over 2 years ago. Anyone other than the few select individuals we see on YT that got to test and keep it for reviews. I have heard, like many others, that the “first batch should start shipping" this month. Just trying to decide which direction to go.
Why are you waiting for a system that obviously has issues when there is a system with thousands of satisfied users available. The Auto-Trickler now in it’s fourth generation is the gold standard for automated powder dispensing. Mine can dispense 50 powder charges with +/- 0.02 grains precision in 30-35 minutes.
@colorado89shooter Just curious, what are the obvious issues it’s having? I’ve watched some reviews on it, and it looks nice. I’m interested in one myself. Do you have insight on why it won’t hold its own against the autotrickler? The autotrickler might be on its 4th generation but that doesn’t mean there’s no room for improvement. An example is LabRadar. It was the gold standard chronograph for years until Garmin introduced theirs.
Adam, I have no idea why that system isn’t ready for Prime Time. I have been and still am completely satisfied with the my Auto-Trickler. My guess is it has not lived up to a comparison to the Auto-Trickler and until it can match it for accuracy and approach it in speed it can’t compete even at a lower price. If it ever does make it to market, it will be nice to have competition in this admittedly niche market.
I have mine, had the trickler first and it was a game changer, now have the bulk powder dropper and love the system, I’ve dropped for the 6PPC and the 30BRS and it drops within .002 very satisfied with it. As far as one commenter saying it had/has problems maybe the guy just wanted to get it right BEFORE releasing it?
