Anybody load this caliber? My uncle built one of these for me back in the early 90’s. It is a Rem 700 SA with a Rem factory 22-250 barrel that was rechamber for the 22-243.
I would like to get some reloading info for 40 varmint bullets up to 55 grains. If memory serves me it has a 1:14 twist. So heavier bullets are out.

As for data I use several free online sites.
Vihtavuori I use their data mostly and get great results with their powder.
Hodgdon has a good one also.
Sierra has a new site Ive only checked out once but will use it more for ballistic data.

Unfortunately none of those sites have listings for the 22-243 Middlestadt cartridge.
I Googled 22-243 Middlestadt and found more than I would have guessed having not heard of this before! Looks like a real hand full, be careful.
