Hello Hope all is well for everyone how many pounds of foot torque value do you apply when threading a receiver action onto a barrel. Understanding some brands want more or less just hoping to get a average and expertise.
Check with barrel manufacturer. I use between 50-75 ft lbs no issues. But check with manufacturer and what barrel and caliber. Check action manufacturer as well for additional safety
I do about 70 ft lb. But I take barrels on and off a lot. I’m not sure it’s super important the exact number.
somewhere around 70 - 80. I know dudes that do quite a bit less. Of course, manufacturers recommended spec is probably the right way.
anywhere between 80 and 100 foot pounds. but use a good torque wrench and whatever you choose be consistent. i use 100.

Chris.Harris is correct. Consistency in tension is key.
I learned this by experience. I have a 308/6mmBR combination in an Eliseo tube gun and got lazy once. Accuracy fell off quickly in a shooting session, so I went home sooner than I’d expected to.
Explaining to my wife why I was invading her leisure time earlier than my curfew, I held the rifle by the barrel vertically as I swung it around to set it in the corner. As I did that the whole rifle spun on the axis of the loose barrel.
Stupid is as stupid does. From now on my barrels are tightened to the upper range of “gudentite”. 100 is gudentite.
